Scenario #1: A person wishes to register one person for several tax school sessions.
a) Visit http://www.tei-houston.org and if the person is a TEI-Houston Chapter Member, they should login to the website. You do not have to be a member to register for tax school.
b) Click in the left Navigation Pane on "Community Calendar” and then select the date/session for wish you are registering and either click the "event title” and then click "register for this event” or click "register” from the calendar page.
c) If not logged into the site, you will be prompted to login. If you aren’t a member, click "continue without signing in”.
d) You will be prompted with "How many people (including yourself) are you registering?”, enter 1 and click "next”.
e) Check the radio button next to the session for which you are registering. Some days have more than one session available and you will only be able to physically attend one.
f) Enter a minimum of your first and last name and your email address and then click "Continue”
g) You can then either "Checkout” and finish the process or "Continue Shopping” by returning to "Community Calendar” and select your next date/session and repeat.
h) At any time, you can go to "Online Store” and then "View Your Cart” to see what you have signed up for and then "Checkout”.
Scenario #2: A person wishes to register more than one person for several tax school sessions.
Gather a list of all the names, email addresses, and sessions for the people you are going to register.
a) Visit http://www.tei-houston.org and if the person is a TEI-Houston Chapter Member, they should login to the website. You do not have to be a member to register for tax school.
b) Click in the left Navigation Pane on "Community Calendar” and then select the date/session for wish you are registering and either click the "event title” and then click "register for this event” or click "register” from the calendar page.
c) If not logged into the site, you will be prompted to login. If you aren’t a member, click "continue without signing in”.
d) You will be prompted with "How many people (including yourself) are you registering?”, count the total number of people who are registering for sessions on that date, enter that number and click "next”. (Example: You have two people who wish to register for Session 1 and three people who wish to register for Session 2. Since both sessions are on the same day, you would select "Tax School 02/20/2012 (Session 1 or 2)" and then enter 5 as there will be a total of 5 people on that day.)
e) Check the radio button next to the session for which the first person is registering. Enter that person’s first name, last name, and email address and then click continue. The system will prompt you for the next person’s information and repeat this for as many times as you indicated you were registering.
f) You can then either "Checkout” and finish the process or "Continue Shopping” by returning to "Community Calendar” and select your next date/session and repeat.
g) At any time, you can go to "Online Store” and then "View Your Cart” to see what you have signed up for and then "Checkout”.
